Doug’s interest in financial planning started early - what seemed unusual as a teenager has become one of his greatest strengths. After earning a Business Administration degree from the University of Baltimore on a lacrosse scholarship, he built a successful career with Procter & Gamble, J. Walter Thompson, and Pepsi Bottling Group Canada, where he served as VP of Sales and Marketing. His long-standing passion for personal finance eventually led him to found Provident Partners. As a Certified Financial Planner, Doug helps clients build personalized financial plans that support their long-term goals. He brings deep experience in portfolio analysis and cash flow planning, with a strong focus on coaching and tailored advice. His client-first mindset is at the heart of everything he does. Doug is a lifelong learner who exceeds industry standards for continuing education. He’s also committed to making the world a better place, having served as a director for the Global Friends Foundation and summited Mt. Kilimanjaro three times in support of youth in Tanzania and Uganda. Doug is a former director of the Canadian Lacrosse Foundation and President of the British Columbia Lacrosse Association. Doug and his wife Vicki enjoy time with their five children and growing number of grandchildren. He’s often found skiing, hiking, or surfing on the lake.

Growing up in Northern British Columbia taught Chad the importance of adapting to change - an outlook that continues to shape his approach to financial planning. With a degree in Education from the University of British Columbia, he brings a strong foundation in communication and a passion for helping others understand their financial options. Chad’s experience spans small family businesses to major companies like Finning and Fortis, where he recognized a growing need for financial education among young families and professionals. That insight, combined with a desire to help people reach their goals, led him to a career in financial services. He takes a needs-based approach, focusing on cash flow planning to help clients get the most out of their money today while preparing for tomorrow. His emphasis on asset protection and long-term wellness has earned the trust of many. To better serve his clients, Chad pursued the Certified Financial Planner designation - reflecting his commitment to excellence. Outside of work, Chad and his wife Abbey stay busy raising their six young children. When he finds time, you’ll likely find him fishing, hunting, or camping with his family.
